This is my take on a classic bomber/flight jacket, based largely on the MA-1 and B-15 flight jackets. I added several new features not typically found on bomber jackets to increase functionality. These include a zippered chest pocket and front yoke to support said pocket, zippered hand pockets, a bellowing sleeve pocket, and a sherpa collar with a throat latch. These are in addition to standard features such as lightweight insulation with a quilted lining, ribbed hem and cuffs, interior drop pockets, and a hanger loop. The shell fabric is NYCO ripstop in MultiCam Tropic, a camouflage pattern I experimented with previously in my Fall 2024 collection "Disruption". The lining is a 1.1 ox nylon ripstop. My goal for this project was to create a piece of outerwear that is both fashionable and highly functional using professional and durable construction methods.
